Joe Black, LPC Veteran Advocate | Youth Mentor

Joseph is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in South Jersey, where he has lived his entire life. Since 2021, he has dedicated his professional career to serving at-risk youth, as well as adolescent and adult clients in outpatient and intensive outpatient settings. He specializes in working with individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders, providing compassionate and structured care to support their recovery journey.

In addition to his clinical work, Joseph volunteers with the Atlantic City Boys and Girls Club, where he mentors and supports local youth. He is ARC Grow certified, demonstrating his commitment to trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate approaches in helping children and families build resilience.

A proud father of two, Joseph is also a combat veteran who completed two tours in Afghanistan. His military experience fuels his deep commitment to the veteran community, and he brings a unique understanding and empathy to veterans navigating mental health challenges.

Whether working in clinical practice or in the community, Joseph is driven by a passion for service, healing, and helping others thrive.
